Beyond: Two Souls is like playing on a seesaw. When it’s up, you’re up. When it’s down, you’re down. At its peak, Beyond: TS has some of the most realistic 3D character modeling and animation ever and surprisingly enjoyable, unique movement based controls. At its lowest, it takes a scattershot approach to telling a story […]
Compulsion Games’ vaudevillian fantasy platformer, Contrast, will replace the delayed Driveclub in the PlayStation 4 launch instant game collection lineup. I recently named Contrast one of the top 7 games at PAX Prime for its striking visuals that literally stopped me dead in my tracks in the massive and crowded Indie MEGABOOTH. They’ve recently updated […]
I immediately recommend Fables anytime someone asks for suggestions for great comic book reading. The Wolf Among Us is shaping up to be a video game that I will recommend to anyone searching for a great adventure game. Telltale Games hit a home run with The Walking Dead and The Wolf Among Us (TWAU) is […]

Initially implemented to facilitate easy, in-game trades between players across the world, Blizzard’s auction houses will be removed in preparation for the Loot 2.0 system and the Reaper of Souls DLC on March 18th, 2014. Earlier today on the Diablo III blog page, the project director John Hight gave the community perspective on the system’s initial goals, […]
Suda51 and Grasshopper Manufacture continue marching to their own wacky game development beat with their latest actioner, Killer Is Dead. They have become known for their unique gameplay mechanics, stories that push the envelope, and over the top sexual themes in their games. Sometimes these things can all come together for an attention-grabbing, noteworthy game. […]
Beyond: Two Souls gameplay video off-camera at PAX 2013. This was a long wait, but well worth it. Sony had a solid showing of PS3 games to counter a rather tame PS4 presence. This video features Jodie escaping the police and an encounter with police dogs.
DO NOT sleep on Dying Light. The all-new zombie game from Techland. I’m telling you, this is not Dead Island 3. Throw out all of your expectations based on what Techland has done in the past with that other zombie game because that’s what they’ve done. I sat down with Pawel Kopinski, International PR & […]
Killer Is Dead launched at retailers today for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The game looks equally as bizarre as its premise. Players control contract killer Mondo Zappa who favors a sword in one hand and a multi-use bionic arm to slay nefarious enemies in a cel-shaded, ultra-violent, surrealistic romp through a cyberpunk world. Look for our review shortly. PSN and Xbox 360 Games on Demand versions will launch on Sept 13.
Warner Bros. and Techland show off 12 minutes of gameplay footage of Dying Light. The video shows off gameplay during the day and night and teases various elements like combat, choices, and free-running movement. Dying Light will release on current and next-gen consoles and PC in 2014.

The world’s most popular fighting game tournament, EVO 2013, took place this weekend and it was the perfect time for Capcom to reveal four new characters for the latest upcoming Super Street Fighter IV update. The good news is the game is getting a complete balance overhaul which is not uncommon for Capcom to do […]
Sony had better send Microsoft a thank you card for setting E3 up perfectly for the PlayStation 4. They couldn’t ask for better circumstances. The PS4 will make its official debut and I’m betting will have a fantastic showing of games. While Sony sat back and watched Microsoft take its lumps over the last couple […]
Blizzard Entertainment announced on Battle.net that Diablo III will indeed be hitting the current generation consoles, PS3 and Xbox 360, on September 3. There is still no confirmation on a release date for the PS4. That likely has more to do with there not being an official release date for the PS4 itself. An Xbox […]
