After a bit of a hiatus, we're back! On the show today is rapper MegaRan, whose album Black Materia I came across while trying to buy the Final Fantasy VII soundtrack. We are pleased to announce our brand new podcast, titled “Behind the Bits,” where we go in-depth with the people who make the games we play and shape the debate around them. Our first episode features Richard Pearsey, narrative designer of Spec Ops: The Line. We explore the themes of the game, the inspiration behind its creation, as well as the development process. It was a great interview, and Richard was a wonderful first guest.
