CBS News is reporting that 7 members of the elite Navy SEALs have been disciplined over their involvement with EA and the development of Medal of Honor: Warfighter. EA has touted the game’s story as being produced by active and retired members of the armed forces. While it is unclear what classified information the SEALs divulged, all 7 are or were part of Seal Team Six, with one of them having taken part in the Osama Bin Laden Raid. While the game doesn’t depict the raid that killed Bin Laden the opening attack on a Somalia pirate den is closely based off a real life mission.

All seven men received written reprimands which will prevent them from gaining future promotion and all were docked half pay for two months.
