Marvel had a huge New York Comic Con. Here they had some huge announcements. Not only in the comic world but also in the video game world. Before I mention the new card game for Ios and Droid systems. There is also a new MMO coming called Marvel Heroes. A free to play game that will allow you to play as multiple Marvel characters and play with friends.
Marvel Heroes also has a single player campaign. This is where I started the game and started off at Deadpool. The game had a similar fell to the game and did not take long till I was beating up my enemies. As you would win fights, things would drop and you could use it to have better offense or defense. Each of the characters had different movies. Hulk has a super cool smash and Marvel has the ability to fly and go over obstacles.
In multiplayer levels, we got to play with people on the show floor. Here we faced some villains that would need a few superheroes to beat. There was no communications here, so usually people would wonder in different directions. As of now there is only 26 characters that will be playable, and more to come. Nova, Luke Cage and Jean Grey were announced at NYCC.
The game is overall a fun and easy to play game. The switching being characters is easy and leveling up added depth to your super hero. I was disappointed you could not play as villains. Maybe they will change that if the demand is there. As a free game and it being Marvel they will be tons of people playing this.
