Well, we’ve found out that Kerra is an idiot.  She led Lord Odion right to the helm that her parents died trying to keep hidden.  Way to screw that up, huh?  In issue #4 she finds out how truly badly she mess up. Not only did she lead Odion right to the helm but he knew about her all along.  Her grief over this fuels the helm even more allowing Odion to force three armies to all fight to the death with each other. Seems like things can’t get much worse for her at this point.

We also find out a few last pieces of her childhood. Her parents never learned what happened to her in attack on their planet but still went through with protecting the helm so that others would not suffer the same fate.  While this part of the back story does not add a lot to this issue I think it will tie in nicely in the next one.  At least I hope so because otherwise it just seems like page filler.

This issue did have a lot of fun fights as Odion turned 3 armies against each other in a fight to the death. While I’m still not 100% into this story line and this overall section of the Star Wars universe I am curious to see how it plays out in issue #5.  I have trouble seeing Kerra being bright enough to stop Odion from using the helm to its fullest potential, but we’ll see what the writers have in store.
