The Walking Dead #99 is here and that means we are one issue away from the big 100. We were last left with Abraham being killed and Negan’s Saviors being on the run. The small community was rocked because Abraham was a well-liked man, and things were looking up after a meeting with the Hilltop. Once again the leadership of Rick will be tested.
For The Walking Dead this is one of the least anti-climatic issues that I can remember. I was expecting some disagreements or even fighting with-in the group. The group seems down, after Abraham’s death, and there is a funeral for him with-in the issue. I am use to seeing people stand up to Rick and say they disagree. I believe at this point now, they all have come to accept Rick as their leader and will listen to him.
With issue 100 only a month away, I was expecting a lot more action. The group is now just accepting Ricks decisions and this could come back to haunt the group in the end. I am sure there will be a Negan’sS aviors attack in the next issue. It is just up to how the group will react and how this will change them moving on.
