Sunset: First Look Impressions

I got a chance today to take an early look at Sunset’s First Look issue.  I don’t read many black and white comics, but I was hooked within just a couple pages.  I’m a sucker for a noir tale and a lot of action in my comics, and Sunset looks to have both well covered.  We don’t get a lot of back story about our main character, Nick Bellamy, in the First Look, but we quickly learn he can handle himself despite being well into retirement. He’s the kind of guy who hides his money under his floorboards and takes care of the ones he loves. I don’t want to spoil things for this one so be sure to check out the First Look when it releases on July 4th.  I’m excited to see where this story goes when it releases later in July.
