We are so use too seeing the superhero and girl love story, that it is nice to see two regular folks fall in love. Grim Leaper #2 follows right up after number one and we see Lou trying to find Ella who suffers the same fate as him. In the first issue we got the back story of Lou who keeps suffering dramatic deaths but keeps coming back in somebody else’s body, and during his adventure comes across a girl named Ella who suffers the same fate. The two hit it off but as soon as they do, Ella falls through a un-man sewage grate and falls to her death.
In this issue we see Lou searching to find Ella. For Lou he always finds comfort in going to the funeral of the person he was. Also Lou would collect the obituaries and wonder who would have the time to write them. I don’t want to ruin it for you but the connections dig deeper in this episode. From Ella’s last death to Lou’s new body. The story is coming together nicely.
Grim Leaper has the slogan “a love story to die for”, and there have been many deaths between the two, but they keep finding each other. One of our lovers actually comes back as a spouse for the first time. It is always interesting to see whom they come back as. There is also a nice short love story about a man and woman who loves to feed him. Can food really control a man? You will find out in the short story.
