Bethesda is bringing a new re-boot of Doom 3 BRP. I got to try out this game during E3. I have always been a fan of Doom series. There is not much to the game, it’s big guns and crazy monsters. And both of these are present once again in this one.
Entering into the booth they had a 3D version of the game and the regular version. I started off with the 3D version of it. I don’t have much experience with playing games on a 3D screen but I was fairly impressed with the version. I think it would of done justice if they had a bigger screen. It was on a screen that was about 26 inches big and I was about 4 feet away to get the best optical version of it. The game visually was amazing. With the 3D it really came to life. I was having trouble trying to dicpher some of the wording during the game play. But other wise is was a enjoyable time.
On the regular version was also fun but the 3D did add color and a woah factor. With this one I just enjoyed using the guns and shooting the hell out of these monsters. Overall it was a fun game to play. I think it will please the people of the Doom franchise and hopefully draw some more in to this great franchise. I would love to see a Doom 4.
