Double Fine Productions has started a KickStarter project to raise $400,000 to create a game called “Double Fine Adventure.” KickStarter has been a great creation and has funded many awesome ideas and I am excited to see a visionary like Tim Schafer using the community to help create another great game. It is like donating to charity but you actually receive something for throwing in your hard earned cash…I mean besides that warm fuzzy feeling of helping the less fortunate.

The KickStarter project can be found right here and offers a ton of rewards for donating X amount. For example $15 will earn you a copy of the game on Steam,  $250 gets you an autographed poster, $1000 gets a mini portrait of you drawn in the game style, and $10,000+ gets you lunch with Tim himself. There are plenty of other rewards too and I am still trying to figure out just how much I am about to drop the support the game.

With 33 days left to go they are already at a whopping $83,407 and that is only from 1,482 people. If I can’t convince you to get on board though perhaps their video can:
