Last week was a busy week for Twitch.tv, the off shoot video streaming service of Justin.tv for gamers. For starters Twitch.tv signed a partnership deal with Electronic Sports League. This partnership is going to bring a slew of Leagues and Teams that will be streaming via Twitch.tv, they include:

Twitch.tv also hired two professional gamers and broadcasters, Marcus “djWHEAT” Graham and James “2GD” Harding. As the new eSports manager for TwitchTV, djWHEAT will be responsible for managing relationships and business development with the world’s leading eSports personalities, leagues, tournaments and other organizations. 2GD on the other hand will be heading up the new European branch of Twitch.tv.
