Reuters is reporting that Sony has said that a “third party” aka Hackers tried to access 93,000 active PSN accounts earlier this month. When the attack occurred Sony froze all affected account and notified account holders of the possible breech. The company says that of the 93,000 affected accounts they believe only a handful actually were accessed. As you all might remember this all comes just months after the massive hacking that the PSN system suffered that caused Sony to shut down the entire network for weeks.
Remember folks strong passwords that vary per online account is always your best bet!
