For a little while now some Steam gamers have been Beta testing in-game item and gift trading. Well today Valve removes the Beta title and has rolled the system out officially to all gamers. The Steam Trading beta began with Team Fortress 2 items and game gifts. Today Spiral Knights, the cooperative adventure from Three Rings and Sega, and Portal 2 join the Steam economy as Steam Trading becomes available to everyone.
Look for more games to support Steam trading in the future as the feature has now been added to the Steamworks SDK for developers to use in their games.
