Well we can add this to the “who didn’t see this coming” category, but the movie rights for Dead Island have been acquired by Lionsgate. As of now there are no details other then that the acquisition for the film rights was based off that amazing initial teaser trailer we saw many months ago. Lets just hope this video game turned movie story doesn’t get ruined like the numerous others.
