First Ever Virtual World of Warcraft Convention in the Works

Utherverse Digital Inc., creator of the Virtual World Web (VWW), today announced it will host the world’s first completely virtual World of Warcraft convention, WoW FanCon, this October 7^th and 8^th. The event will be held on Utherverse’s newly launched UtherConvention platform,  it will be the largest online gathering of World of Warcraft fans, allowing devotees of the wildy popular online role-playing game to meet other players, win prizes, learn new skills and interact with other players as well as their guild members in new and exciting ways.

For the first time ever, millions of our users and millions of WoW players can come together and experience a massively multi-user online convention, for free, without leaving home. World of Warcraft FanCon will feature a trade-show, talks and seminars, guild parties and recruitment events, tournaments, and more, allowing fans from all over the world to meet, learn more about the game, and spend quality time with top WoW players, experts and add-on software developers. There will also be raffles and prizes, and all attendees are automatically entered to win the hourly drawings for $150 Blizzard store credits and 10 WoW game time cards for themselves and their guild members. Utherverse will also be sponsoring guilds, offering to pay fees, web hosting and operating costs in exchange for helping Utherverse get the word out about the FanCon.

WoW Fancon is an event for the fans by the fans, and is not affiliated with the games’ maker, Blizzard. Attendees will not be asked to give out their WoW password, and Utherverse does not give out private account information.
