“Making Of NCAA Football 12″ Premieres Tonight On ESPNU!

Four part documentary follows the process of making EA's collegiate gridiron game starts July 14 on ESPNU.

If you’re a fan the NCAA Football series and are interested in finding out exactly what goes into making the digital version of college football, tune into ESPNU today, July 14th at 7:00 PM for a documentary on the process.  Named “The Making of EA Sports NCAA Football 12 Presented by Coke Zero”, this four part series produced by Greenpoint Pictures, Inc. follows the development team from start to finish.

Absurdly long titles with product placements aside, this is an interesting look at what actually goes on into making a sports game.  For those that think all the EA Sports games are nothing more than just roster updates, it might be worth checking this series out.  Even if you are interested to see what goes on into making a game, this should satisfy your curiosity. This is more than just documenting an office space where developers are knee deep in code, rushing to meet deadlines.  At one point, the development team heads to Georgia Tech to talk with head coach Paul Johnson to get feedback on how the team is represented in NCAA Football 12.

As mentioned previously this is a four part series, with one episode a week ending on August 4th.  Check out the trailer below:
