Konami tonight announced that both Zone of the Enders games are being remastered in HD and will be coming to both PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles sometime in 2012.
Also announced in their pre-E3 press conference is the Metal Gear Solid HD collection. It will include Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, and the recent PSP release, Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker. The game will be out this November for both consoles too.
Both of these collections are being “optimized and rebuilt” and will include better graphics, brand new interfaces, and redrawn 2D art, fonts, and effects. Also announced was Konami’s latest game-transferring technology dubbed “Transfarring” byVP Hideo Kojima. This will let you wirelessly transfer save files between the PS3 and PSP versions of a game.
Also announced was Silent Hill Collection, an HD collection of Silent Hill 2 and 3. Look for more information about these titles in the coming months.
