I’m sure those of you who own a Nintendo 3DS right now have explored all of its features, played some games, and even shared your Friend Codes online with the world. I’m sure you’ve also created your own Mii or even made a few of them to join you in your games. Every time you make your Mii, you get a special QR code for it that lets others scan it with the 3DS camera to download into their system.
While Nintendo hasn’t officially announced an easier method for sharing Miis with friends over long distances, you can, however, simply upload them online via your SD card and have your friends scan them from their computer monitors. You can also print them out on your business cards when networking with video game developers and other industry people. Just think of the possibilities.
For now, you can scan the following QR codes into your system. Do you want former Nintendo president Hiroshi Yamauchi on your system? Or how about Satoru Iwata or Shigeru Miyamoto? Or maybe you want Reggie instead? Scan them below via your 3DS’s MiiMaker!
