(360/PS3) Fight Night Champion-
The first Fight Night to come out that goes away from the standard sports game format. The create-a-boxer, start fighting, win the championships, and get stronger format is still in the mix in a sense but this game has a storyline. Also this is the first boxing game and sports title to receive an M rating. The language is bound to be bad and they will probably drop f-bombs left and right, but more importantly the realism and gore from pummeling your opponent in the face will take the cake for the M rating. Everything I just described either made you want to steer clear or really want it, either way you are welcome.

(DS)Pokemon Black/White Edition-
Pokemon began with my generation. I was in 3rd or 4th grade if I recall correctly and it was a matter of weeks before everyone had binders full of Pokemon cards trading during lunch. It only took a few weeks after that to have them banned from school because kids were losing cards and parents were calling the school about Pokemon cards. It was a day that lived in infamy for the whole elementary school. Over 10 years later they still have the power with the cards but more importantly the games. I was at my little cousin’s birthday party yesterday and all of his little nine year old friends couldn’t be more excited to get the new pokemon. With all of them arguing what edition to get it was obvious that Pokemon still has a crazy hold on players of all ages. Needless to say there is no possible way to be disappointed in picking up this new Pokemon…especially for $35.
