A few weeks ago it was announced by Activision that they were shutting down the show and both Guitar Hero and DJ Hero would both see their last breathe of life. However now it seems with the overwhelming support from both games fans new DLC has been given the go ahead. As announced on both games twitter feeds new DLC will be coming soon with details to follow.

I won’t lie I’m not to surprised to see this. DLC is cheap to create and pretty much all profit, so why not keep supporting DLC for games even if you aren’t planning on new versions? Heck I’ve been quite surprised that more companies haven’t put out less versions of games and focused more on DLC support.
