Video game stores have begun receiving display boxes for the upcoming Nintendo DS title Pokémon Black and White. These displays contain images of the game including some screens that reveal the names of three new Pokemon. The Pokémon are a trio of elemental monkeys you get in the game known in Japan as Yanappu, Baoppu, and Hiyappu. Their names have been revealed as being Pansage, Pansear, and Panpour, respectively, alluding to their type. Also revealed is that one of the antagonists in the game, a mysterious trainer named N, keeps his Japanese name.
Pokémon Black and White were released in Japan in September and are expected to have an April 2011 North American release date.
