Mass Effect and Dragon Age DLC tomorrow

Bioware is releasing

Under the radar this week are two pieces of DLC from Bioware.

Usually I overlook most of the DLC because it wastes my hard drive space and EA keeps spitting it out so in the end you really end up paying over $100 for the complete game. If they took more of a Borderlands approach it would probably sell more and have a lot of hype built up for it.

The downloadable content coming out tomorrow is that type of DLC. I am sure they aren’t going to offer more than 4-6 hours max but what they do offer is bits of the story that I know I personally have been dying to get to.

Dragon Age lets you participate in a Witch Hunt for 560 microsoft points ($6.99 PSN, 560 Bioware Points PC). This allows you to truly get answers from the cliffhanger ending that you may have ended up with depending on some of your choices. I do not want to spoil it for anyone but I will just say it involves the inappropriately attired Morigann.

I think it is a must for Dragon Age fans.

Mass Effect 2 lets you get into the Lair of the Shadow Broker for 800 microsoft points. If you have played the past two titles you will know the Shadow Broker is part of the story very minorly but is behind a lot of the crime in the galaxy. Now it is time for you to team up with Liara T’Soni (who you could have had a relationship in the first game, which I did…things I do for achievements) and get to the bottom of his operations.

On top of that here is a nice classic sci-fi type trailer for it.
