Today Blizzard Entertainment announced that it has begun sending out invitations to World of Warcraft players who signed up for a chance to beta test the latest expansion for the game, Cataclysm. The most played MMO game is about to be turned upside down with this latest expansion. In Cataclysm, the entire world has been shattered by a world ending cataclysm and with two new playable races, a raised level cap, new power levels, and new locations players must wage battle against Dragon Aspect Deathwing to determine the fate of the world.
Cataclysm doesn’t have a firm release date yet, but seeing that the beta has begun we would put money on a release this holiday season.
