(360/PSP/DS/Wii/PS3/PC)LEGO Harry Potter:Years 1 to 4- If you have played any of the previous LEGO titles this is a great pickup for you and the family to play. My girlfriend and I loved playing LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga. With all the collectible and hidden things to find while playing it was just a fun game to play to just sit back and enjoy some corny violence. If you haven’t played any of the games before I suggest at least picking up the Star Wars one for like $15 if you don’t want to drop $50 on the title.
(360)Ninety-Nine Nights 2- The first one came out very early in the Xbox 360′s life and played just like a Dynasty Warriors title. The gameplay was a lot better though and a little more gorier. This time around you will be able to do a little more customization although no creating your own character. Also there is online co-op, so you and a friend can tear through armies back to back.
(PC)APB- All Point Bulletin comes out tuesday and when you buy the game you are given 30 hours of gameplay onto your account. Seeing as I got the chance to try it out with only 5 hours of gameplay this system appears to give you a lot more for your money. No longer will you have to worry that you just bought another month worth of playtime and feel like you must play it because you don’t want to feel like you wasted money. I hope for success personally just so it comes to consoles like it was supposed to originally. From what I have played though even if you buy it to try it out you won’t be disapointed (plus using a USB 360 controller works decently)
(360/PS3)Naughty Bear- I feel that this is the Conker’s of this generation. You are a stuffed animal teddy bear and that is the nicest thing about the game. From videos that I have seen things like axes to the head and crotch areas with stuffing flying out are very common. Along with multiplayer gameplay that allows players to lay bear traps and god forbid someone gets caught in it, ends with the trap layer getting behind the victim and snapping his fury little neck. It is adorable and psychopathic all in one. Plus if you preorder from Gamestop you get to use a bear with a jason mask on it.
