Red Dead Redemption Multiplayer Modes Video

Rockstar games promised that they would bring a unique multiplayer experience to Red Dead Redemption and to prove their claims they have released the following video breaking down the various modes.  While many of the modes are similar to standard multiplayer gametypes (ie. deathmatch, team deathmatch, capture the flag etc.)  the game does present them in a rather interesting way.  First matches begin with a shootout, all player in a circle with guns drawn, the player left standing get a nice head start of finding good sniping positions.  Matches similar capture the flag don’t use a flag, but bags of gold.  Besides the standard match types, you’ll also find matches such as Gold Rush, which involves picking up bags of gold and collecting the most, but be careful the more bag you carry the slower you’ll move, but make the drop and the rewards will be big.
Red Dead Redemption is poised to be a great offline and online experience and we’ll have a full review of it closer to launch.
