MLB 2k10 Total Control Pitching and Hitting Exposed

Today 2k Sports shed some light on MLB 2k10’s new Total Control Pitching and Total Control Hitting systems. The retooled pitching and hitting mechanics give gamers a more realistic baseball experience. Both systems utilize various thumbstick motions. For instance pitching a a fastball involves moving the right stick back and holding then directly forward. The time the stick is held the more power the pitch will have and the straightness of the move forward impacts the pitches accuracy. A similar technique is used for hitting. Using the right thumbstick hitters now have 3 types of possible hits, back to forward for power hits, forward for contact hits, or left or right for a defensive hit.
