Yesterday Microsoft mad the sad announcement that as of April 15th they will pull the plug on Xbox Live service for the original Xbox and for Xbox 1 games played via the Xbox 360. Microsoft took their time deciding the fate of Xbox Live service for the Xbox and after 7 years of providing hundreds of hours of online action they made the hard decision to shut down the past and focus their energy on the future.
