ProsWonderful visuals music and game play, Is part one of a series

ConsPart 2 isnt out, Would of loved a multiplayer death match mode

Pixel Junk has given us another gem with the release of PixelJunk Shooter. This is the fourth release from PixelJunk and is by far the best in the series. In Shooter you command a subterranean vehicle to explore the caverns of a mining planet in order to recover lost miners and hidden gems, as well as take out some deadly creatures.

You’re armed with a grabber, gun and missiles to take care of enemies and save your fellow man. Your ship can be equipped with various suits allowing you to shoot water or lava out in certain areas. Also strewn about are sponge like things that will soak up fluid for you to either drop it into another body of fluid or soak and area with it. This will help tremendously in the puzzle solving aspect of the game. Since you will need to mix and match fluids in order to get to other areas of the level.
But the biggest draw to this game is the fluid dynamics. You will be hearing that a lot when reading up on this game. This is what makes this game so unique and wonderful. Being able to blast through walls, melt ice and fire into gas clouds causing them to ignite in flames is simply a blast and looks gorgeous.

So featuring gorgeous visuals, wonderful sound and great gameplay PixelJunk Shooter is a must have for any PS3 owner. So get out there and take on some creatures and get some gems and as always have some fun!
