Gran Turismo 5 Time Trial Challenge/Demo Announced

The folks over at the Playstation Blog, announced yesterday that starting December 17th. PS3 gamers will be able to get some hands on time with Gran Turismo 5.  While its not being billed as a demo, what gamers will get is a chance to try the new psychics engine with a Nissan 370Z in a time trials situation.  Now the cool thing is that gamers will be playing the time trial challenge not for just fun, but for prizes.  The gamer with the best time at the end of the contest will get  round trip airfare and hotel accommodations for two, to attend the Indianapolis 500, on May 30, 2010, VIP package which includes two all-access passes for Carb Day – which includes the final Indy 500 practice, pit stop competition, special concert festivities, special event car rides in the 2010 Indy 500 event vehicle, as well as all-access passes to the garage, pit area, and Victory Lane for pre- and post-race celebrations for the race and two VIP suite tickets to enjoy the race. Basically a race fans dream come true.
The contest will be open to those in the UNited States and Canada, and ends 5PM PST on January 25, 2010.  And don’t worry after the 25th. you’ll still be able to play the game.
