The Official Playstation Blog has just released a little preview on what gamers can expect from the next update. The biggest addition is the integration of Facebook with the PS3, unlike Microsoft’s Facebook integration, Sony is doing it right. Once you link your PS3 to your facebook, your trophy and Playstation store activity will be automatically updated on your facebook. Unlike Microsoft’s approach which just ports what you can do easier on your PC to the console, Sony is using facebook for what it’s made for, providing as up-to-date information to your social network. Beyond that the facebook integration opens the door up to developers to also send different information to your facebook automatically.
