Madden NFL 10 To Get Virtual Card Game

EA Spors announced today that they are adding what’s being called “Madden Ultimate Team” to Madden NFL for the XBox 360 and PS3. The new game mode is a virtual card game. Players will be able to collect card in-game to build their ultimate team. Once you put together your team you will have chances to put your team up against the computer or other players online. Gamers will be able to earn coins based off their playing performance in Madden NFL, and then use the coins to buy virtual card packs. Beyond buying packs of cards, players will also be able to use an auction house and trade the rare cards they get. This is going to be a fun addition for many gamers, many will just collect the cards and other will have a lot of fun playing against others. This is definitely a great way to keep the NFL action alive even in the off season.
Madden Ultimate Team will be added to the game in January and be free to download!
